Re: How unique is BCF/MCF's brand of cultishness (especially the last 25 Vic Hall years)?

Brilliantly done Paul. Even among some of the worst examples of the impact of the "Shepherding Movement", Vic has gone beyond them. If you can get hold of "Savage Shepherds" by Adam Harbison (has been available from Koorong) you'll see what I mean. Vic is far more subtle and insidious that Jim Jones...

Re: ACNC UPDATE

Also, the interesting news from the Federal Government regarding their "Friendship Grants" offering funding for amounts between $30,000 and $60,000 to enhance their existing aid projects. Would I be too cynical in conjecturing that the "outreach" at Lae will be cited for such aid assistance? ;) :oo...

Re: Dawn Smith on leaving her parent’s church (cult)

Good one, Bagel!!!! :D :) ;) I loved Dawn's gentle and deft sense of humour in getting really strong points across. Her description of Cults and cult behaviour fits BCF/RFI like a glove, especially the need to strongly deny that a cult is a cult. Remember after "God of the Broken Hearts" was aired o...

Just to add to Wendy's astute remark .....
"Typical Vic though - find a twig and turn it into a whole forest...... and pretty soon you can't see the wood for the trees!!!!!" :D ;)

Re: The Gospel According to Vic Hall

...... and where would any of this be without the biggest Gnostic Lie of all ..... "Present Truth" ??????????????

This binds all of Vic's Gnostic heresies together.

Re: The Gospel According to Vic Hall

Just to add to Vic's multiple list of heresies based on "Special Revelation" are these three more: --- 1. The distortion of the Quest for Holiness in "Unto Perfection" which borders on the notion of sinless perfection for God's elect 2. The faithful being "Priests after the order of Melchizedek", es...

Re: BR (Boundary Rider) is unwell and has had several visits to hospital

Thanks for the good wishes for my recovery. I returned home today after a month and a half in and out of hospital involving strong infection and a fractured thigh.

It could have been much worse. :) ;)

Re: The Gospel According to Vic Hall

Hi Faith, When you say: --- "What are the main beliefs the Christian Fellowship group claims to differentiate itself from all other Christian churches? From my 20 years of experience in the fellowship, it was the claim: 1) "we have a special word that has been revealed to us that has not been reveal...
