The Nature of Abusers
I was considering the nature of abusive and controlling people the other day. I have noticed some common factors. One factor in particular is the unique weakness of an abuser to be able to verbally abuse people, sometimes in a violent and loud manner, and yet nearly in the very same breath claim to ...

Re: The Christian Fellowship Leopard has not changed its spots
I agree with you Paul. Evidence of the Christian Fellowship changing its ways will be when they stop the dreadful deliberate shunning. Currently I know of a lot of families where children and grandchildren are forbidden to see fathers and grandparents (even though those people are committed practici...

The Christian Fellowship Leopard has not changed its spots
Hello Dear Streetcar Readers, over the past 12-24 months it appeared that the Christian Fellowship in Brisbane was endeavouring to make changes and also recognise past errors and sins. There were admissions from the pulpit, elders and in private that they had been on the wrong track and needed amend...

Re: What is Happening at BCF?
thanks for the update Robocop.
Bagel, it is true, I wish them both well. It is a good thing to have company and I imagine it would be very hard and lonely to lose your spouse for many decades. I was very saddened when Glady Barlow passed away as I really loved her genuineness and love.

Re: Paul Kovak's MCF Blog
Thanks for posting these blog entries Paul, I really appreciate it. The pain felt and lived by us is just horrible and the pain and suffering these men inflicted was real. Sadly this is a pain that we keep on dealing with years afterwards. I know from personal experience that it took me a full 10 ye...

Re: Vic's Latest "Testimony" 2019 ... Part 2
So Vic had a visit from the Lord in 1975 telling Vic that he was a fallen star and yet another visit from the Lord in 2007 telling Vic that HE was displeased with the way Vic had been doing things? Duh! When will the penny drop, that perhaps Vic was leading people astray all this time! Pity Vic forg...

THE HERESY OF CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP SALVATION TEACHINGS
I was pondering the issues of the universe in the past while and I got to thinking. What is the primary theological teaching focus of the Brisbane Christian Fellowship and the Fellowship churches as a group? What is their main thrust of teaching and thought? What is the main objective of their teach...

Re: The switcheroos at MCF/BCF
Yes, I too remember those sermons Robocop! I imagine with the current parlous state of reduced BCF congregation numbers statewide and the associated drop in cold hard cash, Pope Victor the Great, will be preaching these sermons with gusto! Perhaps there will also be sermons on First Fruits giving, H...

Re: THE HERESY OF CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP SALVATION TEACHINGS
You are spot on Paul. I was recently made aware, as part of my theological studies, that one of the ways to identify false teachers and false teachings and false doctrine, is that when they proclaim a "new understanding" of the word which has an unbalanced emphasis of focusing on a single ...

Re: The switcheroos at MCF/BCF
Thanks for the post Paul. Yes you are spot on with your observations. Of course your post highlights the issue of what MCF/BCF actually believe and what their actual theology is, if they could be so adamant in the 1990's and 2000's that what they were preaching "was directly from God by the mes...
