Re: THE GOD WHO SEES
Friends, this is quite an interesting post. Sadly we all did things and hurt people while apart of Christian Fellowship. We thought we were doing the right thing. It's only once we are away from the situation can we really see our behaviour for what it was. We were brainwashed, this is not an excuse...

Re: The Insidious Harm of Spiritual Abuse
We can only hope that once Vic passes that CF will desolve. The infighting amongst the Hall family and other leaders for the top job could be the catalyst for many to see CF for what it is. I fear though that Jesus words will ring true. Matthew 23:15 15 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! ...

Contact with Family still in CF
Hello, I am wondering how people manage their situations with family members still in CF once you have left. I ask this out because my family are still in. Despite numerous attempts they do not want to see the facts or take accountability for their behaviour. Initially I was sunned and excommunicate...

Re: Everything you need to know about Lampstand Churches™
I used to hate the messages every YA summit where we were pressured to "give generously for our brothers in PNG so they could come and attend the meetings". To add the extra layer of guilt we were then told how they had to travel 7 days by foot just to be able to get to the airport. I don'...

Re: SALVATION TO THE UTTERMOST
Thank you Helen, Spurgeon was a kind preacher. I did a walk through of the beatitudes he wrote which was a really good study. He also complied a number of sermons about mental health. Something I found encouragement in was knowing he suffered severe mental health his entire life. Tragedy happened an...

On the matter of Finances.
I know that in SCF the money was invested into realestate. A few of the top inner circle managed quite large realestate portfolios. I heard rumors about off shore accounts but could not verify this.

Re: The Impact of Cults on Childhood Development
I can definantly attest to having Complex PTSD from being born into CF. The good news is that when you step back from being in a cult and look at it from a medical perspective of having Complex PTSD there is a path for treatment and recovery.

CIFS workshop
Hello, I am involved with a cult recovery group Cult Information and Family Support (CIFS). https://www.cifs.org.au/ When I left Christian Fellowship I attended a weekend workshop which was covered information re cults and coercive control. I found this very valuable to help make sense of my experie...

I had the same issue. It took a number of months. I just kept trying and eventually I was approved.

Re: Mrs. Hall meets Jesus
Its hard to interpret jibberish, with lots of jargon but no actual meaning. This is classic CF sermons a complete word salad. Cults in general are good at making people shut down their critical thinking. So if they make it sound really intelligent, throw lots of unrelated bible verses together as a ...
