The pain of estrangement runs deep,
A wound that's hard to heal or keep.
Families torn, hearts left bleeding,
In silence, the soul is pleading.

Too complex, too crushing to bear,
But God's love is always there.
Surrounding us in peace so pure,
A love that will forever endure.

'God with us' in our time of need,
In Christ, we find the truth indeed.
Beneath, above, behind, before,
His love and peace, our hearts restore.

So in the depths of pain and sorrow,
We'll find hope for a new tomorrow.
God, all-knowing and ever near,
Brings faith and grace to persevere.
