Other Queensland Fellowships

Was just thinking. I see a lot about Brisbane and Toowoomba here but not a lot about other Queensland xCFs. Do they still exist? Or have they been shut down or migrated? I had some good friends in a few of the regional fellowships. I hope they're coping, Or even better hopefully finding a way out of the labyrinth of xCF 'other gospels' I don't know if it would be easier or harder to leave a small tight-knit group than say BCF or TCF.

Looks like all the various regional fellowships have closed their Facebook Pages however it appears that some still have webpages.

Quick internet search revealed the following:

Gympie Christian Fellowship - https://www.gcf.org.au (but scrolling to the bottom of the page reveals it is run by Brisbane Christian Fellowship).

Sunshine Coast Christian Fellowship - https://sccf.org.au (just a single page with zero content)

Fraser Coast Christian Fellowship - no webpage - not sure if these people still meet - probably reduced to a Home Group if at all because I thought that someone else on this forum said that one of the former leaders (Surname - Harry) was taken off the tithe = no elder on the tithe = no communion, no official meetings.

Cairns Christian Fellowship (aka City Wide CF) has a website - http://ccfc.org.au/links/ also has links to other CF's but a lot of links are defunct

Stanthorpe & Warwick CF - https://www.stanthorpechristianfellowship.org (I thought I heard that Stanthorpe was much reduced in size now and the Warwick Fellowship looked after both) - note the webpage features the Sunday Communion Agape Service!

Emerald Christian Fellowship - https://sandbox2.emeraldchristianfellowship.org.au (advertises itself as being a branch of Cairns CF -which is only a short 956km or 10hr 15min drive away!)

Does anyone know how to include a photo?

I want to show the heritage building in Maryborough that was sold to a local Indigenous Group. The people who were attending in the past, gave time, money and talents to develop this facility.

Guess who received all the profits when it was sold?

WOW! Thanks for this guest. Perhaps the big guy needed a much deserved new fishing boat and some nice, expensive wine for his collection. I'm sure the people who gave their time, talents and money will be told it's just another offering......as someone once said, "The hit's just keep on coming."

Are there new plans for a church, or will the people have to drive long distances and be engulfed in another 'fellowship?'

No plans for a church. There’s only a handful of people left!!!
A home group is their only gathering.

Graeme Harry is apparently preaching or teaching in this church. He lives in Maryborough.

Looks like it was up for Lease about a year ago.

Found an old community website with references to Fraser Coast Christian Fellowship.

Just thinking out loud here. A quick check of 102 Wharf St on realestate.com doesn't show any public sales information. I wonder if the Vicster/BCF (who may have ended up being the beneficial owner of the property if the FCCF was essentially closed down - unconfirmed of course), then maybe they are renting it out the local Indigenous Group - possibly the Moonaboola Development ATSI Corporation! (which is what Google Maps says).

Didn't the FCCF call it the building the Crown and Anchor or similar name.

Anyway just conjecture. But if you click on the links above you can see the building from Google Maps street view.
