Fractured Fellowship - Trinity Presbyterian Church Camberwell

Further to my post above about Vic Hall plagiarising the heretical Doctrine of Sinless Perfection, I thought I would provide some details of how this has manifested and been dealt with in other churches other than The Christian Fellowship group of churches. There is a historical connection of Brisba...

Re: The Heresy of the Christian Fellowship and Pope Vic Halls' teachings.

Hello Robocop, wonderful to hear from you. Your post has found me well, healthy and happy. Yes, I remember your travails with your printing work and all the effort you put in. And yes, Vic was a thankless sod, which is I think is a personality trait of narcissists and psychopaths. Vic had similar ru...

The doctrine of Sinless Perfection

I stubbled across this doctrine and link in my readings last week and what a surprise I got when I found out the doctrinal theology of Sinless Perfection was introduced into the Australian church landscape back in the early 1930's. The information I read from an author called Piggins in a book calle...

Re: The passing of Peg Gilbert

Thanks for posting the link to Peg's funeral Boundary Rider. Having known Peg for many years, she was such a lovely bright Christian lady who loved her Lord. She was one of those people who, when you met with her or spoke with her, you would always come away feeling uplifted, edified and built up.

Who Do The Christian Fellowship Really Worship?

Dear Readers, I would again draw your attention to the question of who or what is the focus and energy of the worship of the congregation of the various Christian Fellowship groups. Are they given glory to God alone? Or are they giving glory to a mixture of God, men/leadership and the "administratio...

Who Do The Christian Fellowship Really Worship?

Hello all, I have been pondering the issue of worshipping and giving glory to God and what actions actually happen in any church service of any particular congregation of denomination. In most mainstream churches, there is a specific focus on the "worship service" as being a time when the congregati...

Re: David Garth Falk --- Welcome to the real world outside the TCF bubble

thanks for the heads up on this one Boundary Rider. This is very sad news to read this, although not unsurprising. Unfortunately this incident of abusive behaviour is entirely consistent with Falk's abusive treatment of the congregation throughout his 35 years of "lecturing in theology". Looks like ...

Re: Agape Meals not Communion

Just a quick comment on the importance of communion to Christians throughout the globe. Depending on which denomination you adhere too, there may be few or may be a lot of traditions. Certainly this is a common comment and accusation used by the CF Elders against all mainstream christian churches as...

Re: Agape Meals not Communion

Watcher, I really like your analogy about leaving the Christian Fellowship being like a swim at the beach and is so true. Particularly when the temperature you are coming from is like the poor frog being in the water pot being slowly heated to a boil and the poor from doesn't even know he is being b...

Re: Agape Meals not Communion

Thanks for the update from Melbourne Paul. It certainly is strange there are no elders in Melbourne as it goes against everything that the Christian Fellowship stood for for decades - it was eldership that was the centrepiece. How times have changed. Can you confirm that it is now only Vic Hall who ...
