Re: Paul Kovak's MCF Blog
Hi Folks, Just wondering if we should consider keeping this forum a safe place for all survivors? Paul has been through hell and back, not cool for others to ‘pile on’. C19 was a tough time for all, there was a confluence of untold challenges and misinformation, so let’s not polarise or criticise he...

Re: Depression Caused By Extreme Control
Greetings BR, and other readers, It’s good to reflect on some of the things we read, see, feel. It always saddens me to see ‘the church’ divided on gender grounds. A person’s gender should have absolutely nothing to do with their standing in any place at all, be it in a relationship, in an organisat...

Re: The Heresy of the Christian Fellowship and Pope Vic Halls' teachings.
Hello Faith (and others), Thank you for posting these links. They are helpful for our mutual understanding and the journey many must take. That journey being one of heading away from the XCF world. It is frequently a difficult and even tormenting time, transitioning away from what is known to what o...

How cults cover up abuse
The publishers, Crikey, have been covering a number of areas of practice in the past year involving the JW faith. When I read some of the stories, it seems to take me back to some of the autocrats at XCF.

It’s not appropriate to abuse
A timely subject discussed in this ABC article. Weak men do weak things. Fundamentalist organisations unfortunately let these abuses happen under some sort of ‘get out of jail free’ clause in their doctrine. Sad news. https://www.abc.net.au/news/2019-12-09/this-is-how-evangelical-churches-can-breed-...

Re: Vic’s latest “Testimony” 2019
PS I forgot to add, it makes it sound as if Vic was a big softie and that in 2007 Jesus told him to stop being so trusting of his team. Hence the iron fist approach is supposedly mandated by Jesus. AKA known in circles such as domestic violence as, ‘look what you made me do!’

Re: Vic’s latest “Testimony” 2019
Hello Paul, Thank you for your latest link, I enjoyed your open letter. Could I possibly throw one or two thoughts in here? It in particular involves the 2007 missive. Here is what was written..... 2007: (The Lord) gave me the option to die. However, at the same time, He asked if I would continue to...
