Re: What do YOU think is CORRECT (& not well acknowledged by others) in the MCF/BCF teachings/culture?

Wendy. Hello! Dear God! I don't know what to say. I didn't know Peter Hay was an subject matter expert on the various cuts made during a circumcision! Seems like a very specialised area of biblical study and would require first hand knowledge of how a rabbi does the job. Perhaps Vic's jewish heritag...

Re: What do YOU think is CORRECT (& not well acknowledged by others) in the MCF/BCF teachings/culture?

Thanks Wendy, your last sentence is a key. Having been in the CF movement since the mid 1980's, I can attest to the fact that there is certainly a changing chameleon-like teaching that is a very dangerous and heretical foundation of the Christian Fellowship group as a whole. I am pretty sure that no...

Re: What do YOU think is CORRECT (& not well acknowledged by others) in the MCF/BCF teachings/culture?

Paul, I think it helps to separate the various elements of the CF group. Personally I have been out of the CF for over ten years and I am just getting over things and don't think about the abuses on a daily basis. For me I was greatly helped when I have undertook some further study at a reputable ch...

Hi Wendy, no, it is not mean to think that. If anything it helps you heal because you can tell yourself "I am not mad, others have suffered the same horrific treatment at the hands of these misguided men." We need to keep telling our story because there are still people in the Christian Fe...

Wendy, you have made a point about going to see counsellors and telling other Christians about BCF. I have experienced the same thing. You tell people/friends/counsellor about what happened and who did what and how the elders controlled everything in your life (i.e. where you work, when you go on ho...

Drummer might have been Drew Sansness. I remember he was a drummer with an american accent.

Yes, you are quite right Robocop. Standing back and taking a long term view of BCF activities over the past 20 years or so, what we see is a transfer and consolidation of assets (as well as consolidation of decision making power) directly to the Hall family in Brisbane. Boundary Riders great investi...

Bagel, I think you might be right in your thinking and I wouldn't put it past Vic to do this. I am sure this type of thinking and planning was factored into BCF punting Raymond Guyatt some years ago when Vic knew that Raymond could go on the pension. It may be worth doing a little research on the ag...

I believe the rare frog was the Samford Long Nosed Swamp Frog :)

It was later joined by another Swamp Dweller who also had a long nose like Pinnochio !!

Thank you so much Paul and Bagel, for sharing your thoughts above. Paul your observations are spot on. Bagel, you had me chuckling with laughter at your turn of phrase, particularly the part where you said "A few executions in the street were all that was needed to keep the peasants from revolt...
