Account activation issues

Hi all,

This is an off-topic post to see if anyone else using the guest account has attempted to create a unique account lately and is stuck waiting for activation? Is there an admin with multiple new account requests in the inbox waiting for activation?

I've created an account and had no activation for months.

I believe the site admin goes by the name Dante. I don’t know who it is or when they last logged in but I haven’t heard from them for a long time. Maybe they’re ill or have abandoned streetcar altogether. Hopefully neither.

I had the same issue. It took a number of months. I just kept trying and eventually I was approved.

If you happened to know someone who you know is on Streetcar who could vouch for you, then clearly that would help. That worked for me. Otherwise I don’t know how they vet the genuine people.
