Don't come back Vic - ever
Don't come back Vic - ever
G'day guys,
Just had Vic in Cairns. He has lost it. A complete raving idiot.
Most of the time he raved on about how good he was over 50 years ago. Sounds like he peaked in high school.
What a tossa.
How does he serisouly expect us to obey him or the muppets who bow down and worship him to get their top jobs.
I can't believe it. I am lost for words. How the heck does life go on from now?
We need to ban together to be heard and get rid of this 'has been'.
Vic has as much authority from God as sponge bob square pants.

Re: Don't come back Vic - ever
Bruce still has the whole controlling our thinking and behaviour thing going.
We are told what we are to think and what we are to say. I wonder if it all comes from Vic though.
They are nice to you if (they think) you are doing what you have been told to do.
It is kinda like the whole thing on God's love being conditional on us being obedient to Vic's muppets.
Bruce is all nice and fatherly to you if you obey him. But if you don't obey what he says, then there is no love. Hasnt happened to me as I know how to keep my head down and do what I am told but i have seen what happens if you dont obey.
There are a few of us that talk about it and have sworn not to tell on the others.
I just don't want to loose my family.
I still pray and ask God to forgive me. I believe Jesus died and rose from the dead to save me from my sins yesterday, today and tomorrow. I make mistakes but I ask God to forgive me and I believe he does. I feel like a prisoner in a jail but have found a bible and become a Christian. I don't believe any of the garbage Vic or his muppets say but I find joy and truth in reading the bible and in prayer. I think the real truth is in there. I hope they don't stop us reading our bibles.
I'd have heaps of respect for Bruce if he stood up to Vic and said we all were leaving and becoming a separate church. I'd be happy if we connected to some of the other local churches. There is an awesome baptist church with some great people. I just want to be a a christian around other christian. I dont want to be a member of Vics body of fakeness.

Re: Don't come back Vic - ever
Yes, it comes through Vic. In years gone by, they used to call it a 'multiple eldership'. Nowadays, the call it 'the presbytery', but in reality, it's a bunch of people bowing down to Vic. If they don't, they are disposed of.
This is sad to hear, because your church community should not be like this! We've heard stories from nearly every CF of the same sentiment. So what you feel and experience is common to many others across the country.
I really feel for you! I don't know what to do other than pray.
That's so encouraging to hear!
I would encourage you to fellowship with other Christian believers. They can help you on your Christian walk. I don't think heaven will be divided into denominations.guest wrote: ↑Thu Oct 17, 2024 9:41 am I'd have heaps of respect for Bruce if he stood up to Vic and said we all were leaving and becoming a separate church. Re: Don't come back Vic - ever
Guest may you elaborate who “Bruce” is and what the association is with the CF organisation? TIA
Re: Don't come back Vic - ever
Bruce Mackay- I believe he was originally from Brisbane and was a pastor at a different church at the formation of the original CFs in the 80s. I'm sure someone else with a bit of history knowledge can elaborate.
Re: Don't come back Vic - ever
Bruce was in the Cross Bearers with Raymond Guyatt, Graeme Harry, and others. Bruce is the only remaining elder of the CF from the Cross Bearers. Graeme was excommunicated, Raymond was treated very badly and the details covered over.
Re: Don't come back Vic - ever
Does anyone know why Raymond Guyatt was asked to leave the leadership / BCF.
We heard it was because of doctrinal dispute with Vic, but we would love to know if Raymond knew the truth and and dangers of the BCF / Vic's doctine and how it departed from Christian gospel.

Re: Don't come back Vic - ever
The message from the pulpit (if my memory serves correctly as this was quite a while ago) was that he was moving to the Blue Mountains to be with family. He had many heart / angina problems. The commentary appeared quite genuine even when speaking directly to Raymond at the time.

Re: Don't come back Vic - ever
I actually came across a comment Raymond Guyatt made on a blog post about Melbourne Christian Fellowship in 2012. Here is the link to the blog: https://realityrevelations.com/2010/03/ ... /#comments
Raymond's comment was as follows "Roger, I was most interested reading your testimony in three parts. My wife and I with others linked up with BCF in 1989 and I was in leadership till August, 2011. Murray Wylie told my wife and I that we needed family care and arrangements were made for a daughter and her husband in the Blue Mountains to provide this, although Murray tried to hasten the procedure. We later discoveered that, in fact, we were being thrown out for ‘going in a different direction’. I’d like to say a lot more, but I’d prefe to contact you on a personal level rather than on the web.
The Lord bless and lead and encourage you, Raymond."
You'll find it at the bottom of the page. Clearly there was more to the story. I wonder if he was able to get down in writing anywhere his experience. May he rest in peace and be remembered by us all.
