What is happening in MCF these days?
Re: What is happening in MCF these days?
It makes you realise just how much of an echo chamber this "Presbytery Word" is stuck in. The teaching and fruit of the teaching is now so obviously false. They really need some outside input and guidance. But with Vic at the top, what are the chances?!?
Re: What is happening in MCF these days?
I watch their services online, out of a morbid curiosity, and they're extremely creepy. The congregation itself isn't seen, only the people up front. I have no idea how large the congregation is,or how large it used to be.One time the young people were all up the front, and most of them looked either really bored,or really miserable. One or two look like they hate being forced to go there, and i cant say i blame them. The songs they sing arent proper worship songs, and they're not very good. Ive seen people give "testimonies" or "revelations"which arent even biblical, and don't make any sense. All ill say is the God they think they're following is a very hard, unloving God.If i ever made the mistake of visiting them,or BCF,and id never heard of them, there's no way id go back. There's no life there.
Re: What is happening in MCF these days?
How is it that MCF families including a number of key leaders of MCF are still allowed to attend (and work in) private Christian schools in Melbourne?
Whereas this is not allowed in BCF.
Is it that MCF leadership continues to deny the anointing of Vic Hall as their true leader? Or choose to obey only when it suits their own idols?
Wealthy leadership families who attend these schools include: the Bellinghams, Wills, Burketts, Andersons and Hills. Why are they allowed?
Oxley Christian College and Donvale Christian College are two wonderful Christian schools where the wealthy Christians families and leaders of MCF send their children. These schools are aware to some extent of 'Vic Hall' and the dangerous cultish behaviour of the group and the fact that children are now starting to be taken away from some xCF families in other states due to child protection concerns/breaches.
Some of these families are very proud they attend private schools - Vic Hall may well test their obedience and submission by touching the one 'idol' thing that these families are not willing to sacrifice.
Although - maybe Vic (or the leaders at MCF) are not willing to loose the hundreds of thousands of dollards donated by these families each year.

Re: What is happening in MCF these days?
As Haggai 1:7 pointed out, there are no 'rules' about attending Christian schools. But I think you'll find that the pressure will be on if Vic doubles down. But also, the mass exodus in Brisbane may have been due to Vic's gripes with a couple of Christian schools on Brisbane's north side.
One of the obvious points is that a healthy church would work with Christian Schools, not against them.
Re: What is happening in MCF these days?
Uprising needed who the hell is Vic. Emphasis on Hell
Re: What is happening in MCF these days?
I’m not sure uprising is necessarily the best option. If you have the ability, just vote with your feet. Find a healthy church to be a part of.
