As a guess, I’d say that’s a lot of people logging in as a guest. Right on Easter weekend too.

Forum bots etc are used to run around the internet for all sorts of nefarious reasons. Probably 90% of numbers of visitors on this forum are bots. Just programs written to crawl everywhere.

Yes please I second that!
We’ve had some great contributions from “guest” “different guest here”, “guest 2” etc.
It’s confusing as well as unwelcoming and disrespectful.
I do agree with a vouching system.
Breakfree would you /others be up for being a point of contact to vet enquirers?
