CULTS IN OUR MIDST

I have just finished reading this very interesting and informative book by Margaret Thaler Singer.
I would like to post some excerpts from the book, which may be helpful to people reading the Streetcar Forum and seeking to understand how Cults operate and recruit their members, as well as the fallout from being caught up in an abusive group, which seeks to control and manipulate its followers.
Before I start, I would just seek some feedback from readers, to know if they might be agreeable to receive this information.
On the old Streetcar Forum, a lot of the information that was forwarded was lost when the Forum went down, and was lost for ever.
As there has not been a lot of activity in the Forum in recent times, I hope this might generate some interest with new readers who missed out on previous versions of Streetcar.
I eagerly await your responses.
